The 1st Annual Guns N Hoses hockey game was a GREAT success!! This highly anticipated event SOLD OUT before #TEAMGUNS and #TEAMHOSES even took the ice!! The Jefferson City community rallied their support for our local public service officers through sponsorships, ticket purchases and by volunteering their time. When the game was finished, #TEAMGUNS was awarded the trophy…but Safety Net of Missouri was the real winner!! The JCMO Guns N Hoses Committee presented our organization with a check for $11,287.92 to help provide support and financial assistance to the spouses and children of all local law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and correction officers, who have lost their lives in the line of duty. We are forever grateful for the gift.
