Safety Net of Missouri

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide needed support and financial assistance to the spouses and children of local law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and correction officers who have lost their lives performing their duties.

How We Help

When tragedy strikes, SafetyNet responds quickly and walks alongside families for the long road ahead. We provide meaningful, practical support in four key areas:

Immediate Financial Relief

Within days of a line-of-duty death, SafetyNet provides the fallen first responder’s family with an initial $5,000 gift and a promise to continue helping into the future.

ongoing Financial Support

As needs continue, SafetyNet may assist with essential financial obligations, including mortgage payments, vehicle expenses, insurance, taxes, and other debts.

Health & Family Stability

We help families maintain access to critical care and stability by supporting health and dental insurance needs, along with other essential expenses such as home repairs or unexpected medical costs.

Education & Future

SafetyNet invests in the future of surviving families by providing educational assistance—from K–12 support to college or vocational tuition for spouses and dependents.

SafetyNet supports the families of fallen law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, and corrections officers across mid-Missouri, including Boone, Camden, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Miller, Morgan, and Osage counties.
